Abstract

In this study, power relations with environment of civil society organizations, specifically with the state, are tried to be understood. Research about Turkey context-specific civil society organizations as an organization and their relationship with environment are limited, that is the basis of the original value of this work. In this study, resource based theory is used as the main theoretical framework. The method used in the study is a qualitative method. In the interviews held within this scope, findings were obtained on the social context, autonomy and power dimensions in the relations of civil society organizations with their environment. In the last part of the study, the findings were discussed and forward-looking suggestions were made.
