Abstract

Purpose of the research, it has been determined whichcomponents are included in the mission and vision expressions of the PublicHospital Unions. It is identified which components are emphasized in theseexpressions. It was determined whether or not sektörel emphasis was made. Ithas been determined whether the role of top Organization is emphasized. In thisresearch adopted by qualitative research method, secondary data collectionmethod has been used. The system of the work is composed all of the 89 PublicHospital Unions in Turkey. The acquired knowledge has been investigated bycontent analysis method. In the result of the study, the vision and missionstatements of 43 Public Hospital Unions have been gathered. In the resultanalysis of the mission components, service, location/market and customercomponents are most emphasized. The most mentioned concepts in the missioncomponents were patient, reliable service, advanced technology, ethical principles,ecofriendly and employee satisfaction. The most mentioned concepts in thevision components were of human-focused understanding, safe health service,quality service, meet the expectation of patients, being effective leadersamong in the international health market
