In strategic management literature, the relative importance of factors contributing to sustainable success has been debated, and the field of study on the sources of competitive advantage has attracted attention. In this context, this study aims to examine the changes in studies on the sources of competitive advantage over the years, the concepts that stand out, and which countries and authors have worked more intensively on the relevant concept. For this purpose, a bibliometric analysis was conducted using the Web of Science database with the keyword “Sources of Competitive Advantage.” Looking at the historical sequence, it is seen that there are 444 studies in the database from 1993 to the present. The data on the studies in the Web of Science database were analyzed and visualized using the VOSviewer program, which is frequently preferred for bibliometric analyses. The study found that the country with the most publications was the US (81) and the most commonly used language in the publications was English (406). Looking at the current words and concepts used in the publications, it was observed that concepts such as artificial intelligence, digitalization, and bargaining power stood out. It was found that concepts such as green transformation and sustainability were not yet used very intensively.
